We are back from our vacation to Colorado, and it was just awesome. This picture pretty much sums it up, taken on the drive to Colorado and capturing 3 of my favorite things on earth: Gus, Beth, and the open road.

It's a relatively new thing for me to have a decently stocked kitchen. So it's still a surprise when I am able to go whip up some cookies without a trip to the grocery store. Isn't this some sort of milestone of adulthood that I've reached? Anyone else pat yourself on the back when this happens?

Minding my own business...

Adam and I were having dinner at Subway after the gym (violating my "no more fast food" vow I made on my 30th birthday but nevermind about that) innocently eating our sandwich, when suddenly our senses were violated by the voice of Taylor Dane blasting overhead.

I wonder if there was ever a more atrocious female voice to hit the airwaves. Can you think of one? I honestly can't.

If you can stomach her grating voice, this video is nothing short of perfection.
