Gus's first trip to the playground. He loves basking in the sun. He always smiles when the natural light hits his face as we go from indoors to outdoors.

I am so grateful that he will live in a world where we have come so far beyond intolerance and prejudice. At this moment I am so proud to be an American. Imagine, when I was a kid there were places that a black person couldn't even go into! Thank God we have come this far in such a short time.
