Another introduction

Slowly but surely, Gus is meeting my Notre Dame posse. This past week, we got to hang out with Tom in New Orleans. He was down here doing some pro bono legal work, so we shot over for a decadent dinner at Antoine's! Fried oysters, alligator soup, softshell crab, Abita, and fun, easy conversation. Good for the soul. Tom and Gus were fast friends. (Ladies, he's single and a natural with babies! If you live in Philly, send me your resume. I'll determine if you're good enough.)

Antoine's is awesome. Did you sit in that front dining room, or did they take you back to one of the cool dining rooms. From that second picture, it looks like you ate in that front dining room.

Yes, we ate in the front, but our waiter made sure to tell us to wander around after dinner. That place was a museum!! We were especially amazed by the wine cellar that was 150 feet deep. Heaven!

What about the Rex Room? We want to eat in that red room, the one which was first set up for the family who ran Tabasco.
