Shadows

All week long, no matter where I go in the house, I hear the doggies' nails clicking on the floor behind me. If I go to the kitchen for just a minute for some water, there they are. Then when I go back to the computer, they plop down beside me. If I'm in the bed, they are in their beds. It's very flattering, but also unusual. They are not always this attentive. I'm loving it while it lasts.

I thought this post was going to go in a totally different direction- I was sure you were going to say that you hear the click of dog nails following you and when you turned around, there was nothing behind you- that you had moved into a haunted house. Not that would have been a story.

PS- did you see who commented on my blog post about the bag borrow steal website? Apparently, the man has my blog under the radar now.

PSS- Don't you want to see SATC again

PSSS- that was me that deleted my comment above, I messed it up.

I'm sure the dogs are glad that they can be around you and have them all to yourself now that Sara is gone. I'm sure they were jealous, her taking over the computer room, her sleeping on your bed, watching their every move, her food in the kitchen that they can't eat. Are you SURE you want a kitten?

actually, my vet said that dogs know when you're pregnant, and that they'll usually start being more and more attentive to you the further along in your pregnancy you get... sounds like she could be telling the truth!! scooby and jesse might already know that brother or sister is coming along, and they're already being protective older brothers! so cute!

Mary,
Why are you consulting your vet about dog behavior and pregnancy? Is there something you need to share?? Just wondering! Momma Wolfe

hahahahaha, no, momma wolfe, not just yet anyways! gonna wait for the sacrement of marriage to take place before we begin trying!

i had actually accompanied a friend of mine when she took her dog to the vet, who happens to be the same vet i use, and my friend happens to be as many months pregnant as laura (also her first) which is why the topic was discussed.

don't worry, as your daughter will probably agree considering how well she knows me-- when i'm pregnant not only you but most likely the entire world will know! :-)
